The solar plexus chakra is the third chakra. Its element is fire and is associated with personal power, ego, self-esteem, willpower, energy transformation, and life purpose. The third chakra is all about the perception of who you are. The gift of this chakra is sensing your power, being confident, responsible, and reliable. It gives us the courage to be our authentic selves and to move forward in life.
This chakra is where the term, "fire in your belly," comes from. It's your passion, your drive, your fire.
This chakra reminds me of Jay-Z's line in his song, Family Feud, "I'm clear why I'm here, how 'bout you?" 🕺
Are you clear on your purpose? Do you control your life? Are you following your passions? Are you sometimes jealous of other people's success? The solar plexus chakra says, "I CAN or I BECOME"
What are some signs that your solar plexus chakra is blocked?
You have low self-esteem and self-trust, you may feel a lack of direction or you're unclear of your purpose. You are unable to take responsibility or accountability. You have a poor appetite. You have difficulty staying organized and focused. You have chronic feelings of anxiety and fear. You developed a victim mentality. You struggle with digestive cramps and nausea.
An overactive solar plexus may look like, overly aggressive behavior, and excessive hunger for power. Bossiness, or always wanting to control everything. You are hyperactive and unable to calm down. You are self-centered and narrow-minded.

How to heal your solar plexus chakra --
The key to balancing this chakra is by affirming yourself of your own personal power. Whenever you feel like you can't do something, look at yourself in the mirror and say, "Why not me?" "Why can't I?" "If not me, then who?" "I was literally made for this." "Anything I want, I can have." Repeat, "I CAN!" This chakra is all about reclaiming our power. Imagine the lovely, Mrs. Maxine Waters saying, "I AM RECLAIMING MY TIME." Reclaim your time from that romantic relationship if it's no longer serving you. Reclaim your time from that friendship that is no longer a reciprocal exchange of energy. Reclaim your time from that job that is draining you. RECLAIM YOUR TIME, and focus alllll of your beautiful energy on your passions, the things that set your SOUL ON FIRE. The things and people that make you RADIATE. Focus on what makes you LIGHT UP! Reclaim your power. You know exactly who you are. You know exactly how powerful you are. Sometimes we just have to take a second and remember :)
